Boulder (02 Sep 97)

Today,
I stepped out from
the shop door,
and the wind hit me.

Just like I remember.
Cool and brisk,
like an October day
in Colorado.

I lift my eyes,
and the sun shining
on the apartment blocks
turns them into the Rockies...

And, once again, I am there.
I walk home, rejoicing.
